BERNARD CONTROLS took the second position of the "Fresh Connection serious game"

Friday, the 8th of July, the French final of the "Fresh Connection" business game organized by the FAPICS Congress has taken place in Gentilly, South of Paris (France).

Fapics is the French association of Supply Chain Management which counts Bernard Controls as a loyal member for years. Every two weeks from the 25th of April to the 3rd of June 2016, hundreds of teams from all over the world played 3 sets of the game on topics regarding main management functions in a company. The four principal categories were Purchasing, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain. At each round, new parameters put participants out of their comfort zone who had to rebuild a distressed company.

In each contesting country, the best teams were given the opportunity to battle during national finals. In France, BERNARD CONTROLS faced competitors such as Sanofi, LVMH and Qualipac to be the French team!

After a though battle, SANOFI finally won the competition and qualified to be the French team for the international final competition which will take place the 22nd of September in Miami (Florida, USA). Although our team did not win, they took the second place of this national. Most importantly, this experience offered the occasion to all participants to develop and share both knowledge & good practices in the management field so they could bring up innovative and durable solutions back at the workplace.

BERNARD CONTROLS' team was managed by Nicolas HULLOT (Purchasing Manager) and made up of Célia LIMOUZIN (Purchaser), Stéphane MAZAS (Finance Controller), Thomas BARCIET (Provision Manager), Charles-André AGUILERA (Supply Chain Engineer) and Jeyaluxan AKILAN (Order Processing Engineer). Congratulations to them!
